APPLE ‘Share your gifts’ | commercial
First time working at BUCK LA, I stumbled upon this amazing project and seriously stellar team of artists. Far from the typical christmas product commercial, this short film directed by the WATTS, commisioned by Apple, and featuring an original song by Billie Eilish, was crafted by one of the most talended team of people I’ve ever had a chance to work with.
I was tasked to develop the look and feel of a bunch of shots, so my work was mostly in lighting, rendering and compositing on this one. The challenge was to integrate the CG elements into the rest of the miniture sets that was shot in camera.
Additonnaly, I created a couple of production tools to help with little things, like attaching hats to the head of character rigs, etc.
And on my last day, I got to work on the poster frame for the film. The cherry on top really :)
A huge shout out to the entire team. It’s amazing how easy it is to make things look good when every other part of the process is done by talented people.
