DLIFE NETWORK | branding package
Over the course of 2011 and 2012, I've been working on the launch of this brand new Japanese TV network, owned by Disney.
The biggest chunk of my time has been spent on the Promo IDs. Each one of these elements involved designing, shading, lighting, animating, rendering and compositing a sequence of 4 to 7 shots showcasing glass (or other material) pieces, being 'attracted by and forming the resolved logo.
A tremendous amount of work was required to give the network all of the on-air elements, as well as print templates and AfterEffects toolkits, to let them be able to render out the elements depending on the featured show. Additionally, this was the first project the team and I were doing in VRay.

For this project, a lot of R&D occurred to get the look right, but also to create a complete pipeline... and I've been involved since the very beginning, testing animation (key framed and dynamics), creating rigs and workflow scripts to streamline the production pipeline.

DLIFE WINTER PACKAGE
For the end of the year, LK created two new packages for the Dlife network : a Christmas themed one, and another one celebrating the New Year.
I was in charge of half of all the elements, and was involved from design to delivery.

DLIFE SPECIAL PROMO M.U.
Another fun special case I was involved with was part of the promotional campaign for the release of the Disney/Pixar movie : Monsters University.
The client asked us to create 3 unique idents based on pre-rendered animations of their characters, seperated in layers.
From a technical point of view, the challenge was to integrate these flat 2d cards in the DLife, glass based, reflective world.
Animated in Maya, rendered with VRay and composited in AfterEffects.

DLIFE DISNEYTIME PACKAGE
My last project for Dlife was when they came back to us for creating an entire new look for the kid's block now called 'Disney Time'.
This was also my last project at Loyalkaspar as a staff member.
The design was made in Cinema4D and my task was to transpose the entire thing to Maya for production after it was approved by the client.
