Years ago, my wife Andrea made me listen this song, which I had never heard before (shame) and immediately I started imagining a music video for it... Because of course I did 😅
I tried for a long time to get the project off the ground but even though I made some progress, it ended up in my "dream projects" folder amongst many others...
But I decided to just do a bunch of frames to illustrate what's been in my head all these years.
I’m actively trying to find financing for this project.
Those frames were made using a combination of Midjourney image generation, Adobe Photoshop Generative Fill and traditionnal photo editing techniques.

Just to put things in perspective, here’s all the different images I generated to use as a base for my frames.
Coming from a storytelling mindset, I’ve found this novel approach to concept design very empowering. The ability to very quickly modify the images generated via Midjourney directly in Photoshop has been a game-changer in my opinion. It puts my creative skills back front and center, only increasing the speed at which I can create and develop an idea visually.
Additionnaly, here’s the original sketches I had done a while back, when I first started envisioning the characters. It had a bit more of Cuphead vibe to it, even as very crude drawings.
