Here's a little something I put together in a matter of hours while I was experimenting with the beta of Runway Gen-2 (text prompt to video generation).
First, I spent some time testing the model, and trying to figure out what it was particularly good at generating that would normally take me hours to simulate in a classic CGI software like Maya or Houdini. Then I started coming up with a bit of a story in my mind, about the creation of a new cosmic entity, a god-like figure embodying the first true Artifical Intelligence and the power it would yield.
After making a list of shots I needed, I started generating a bunch of material and then used it just like I would use any other stock footage really, spending a couple of hours tweaking things in AfterEffects.
I also took this opportunity to try out soundtrack generation using AIVA. I wanted something epic and full of gravitas, that would convey a sense of traveling through time and space.
