I worked with my friends at Warm & Fuzzy on creating a bunch of integrated CG elements (not the 2d/pixel art parts) for the rapper Jay Rock's music video 'ES tales'.
Rendered entirely using Redshift in Maya.
I was given a bunch of shots and was tasked to create a voxelized look that would fit in the real world nicely.
The main constraint was too stay really low fidelity and choose the visible details with attention.
